The ride height of the machine would gradually diminish as the location of the upper shock mount moved upwards. This can occur either the right or left side. A less likely possibility is that the shock mount falls suddenly. If this occurs, the rider could lose control of the machine, either due to a sudden change in the ride height of the machine or due to interference with steering mechanism.
