What is the danger
The product poses a serious risk of crash/jam/brake of fingers because it does not have a locking mechanism when unfolded. When attempting to move the chair by lifting the seat, there is a possible risk of shear and squeeze point between movable parts of the folding construction of the product. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 581. An incident where both hands of an eight year old child were injured (the fingers were trapped between movable parts of the chair) has been reported.
