What is the danger

This product poses a risk of electric shock because: – during the tests, the traction stop becomes damaged and the thread of the cap wears away completely following these tests; – the metal casing and connection housing for the lamp do not resist a shock of 0.35J; - the product does not pass the 1460V dielectric strength test (damage was observed near the socket conductors). This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards.

Corrigendum
Corrigenda: Notification 0336/07 of week 15 of year 2007 has been withdrawn on request of the notifying country until the risk assessment is clarified. Notification 0361/06 of week 24 of year 2006 and notifications 0365/06 and 0366/06 of week 25 of year 2006 have been withdrawn because the risk posed by these products was moderate and thus the requirements for an Article 12 notification (serious risk) have not been met.
