What is the danger
The products pose a risk of suffocation through strangulation. According to the relevant European standard, garments intended for young children (children until the age of 7 years) shall not be designed, manufactured or supplied with drawstrings, functional cords or decorative cords in the hood or neck area. These products do not comply with the relevant European standard.

Notification 0704/06 of week 43 of the year 2006 has been withdrawn because after re-examination the product complies with the requirements of the Toys Directive and the European standard EN 71. Notification 0520/06 of week 32 and notification 0617/06 of week 38 of the year 2006 have been withdrawn because the products complied with the requirements of the European standard EN 14988, which is now applicable and replaces the European standard ENV 1178.
