What is the danger
The product poses a risk of burns and electric shock because : - the power absorbed (1 235 watts for model FCAT 22 and 1 243 watts for model FCA 21) at the rated voltage (220-240 volts) is more than 5% than that of the manufacturer’s rated wattage (1 100 watts); - in the case of the FCA-21 model, the maximum permitted heat values (65 K and 60 K) are exceeded in the corner wall (125.4 K) and the door handle (91.7 K); and in the case of the FCAT-22 model, the maximum permitted heat values (60 K) are exceeded by the door handle (98.6 K); - the appliances failed the test with the spring-operated impact hammer, which totally destroyed the front of the ovens and left the heating elements inside directly accessible; - when the user touches the handle, he/she touches parts that increase in temperature by more than the increase permitted for handles held for short periods of time only; - the oven tray falls in an intermediate position; - insulation sleeves are used as additional insulation but they are not securely fixed in position; - earth continuity is ensured using the fastening of the power cable anti-traction device. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and with the relevant European standards EN 60335 and EN 604417.
