What is the danger
The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of 2.4 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear and 3.3 mg/kg in the sachet included in the packaging. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.
