What is the danger
The product poses a risk of injuries because the folding mechanism has very strong springs, and unfolding and folding the chair requires a high force, and the user’s fingers can get trapped between the seat frame and and the backrest frame, possibly leading to the fracture, or even the loss, of one or more fingers. Six accidents reported.

- Folding chair made of metal tubing, diameter of 18 mm, with fabric seat and backrest and plastic armrests. Three metal springs of 10 mm diameter, placed in plastic sleeves connect the seat and the backrest. The chair is packaged in plastic.
