What is the danger

Due to fretting corrosion between connectors of the harness and door lock terminals, the door lock connection can overheat. Under certain circumstances, this can lead to a fire.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.

Description

Front-loading washing machines manufactured between October, 2014 and February, 2018.

Packaging

The product packaging is made of foam protections made of EPS foam around the product edges wrapped with a shrink film that includes handling practice symbols. Wood bars are included as protection for truck clamp handling.
