What is the danger
The textile of the slippers contains an excessive amount of benzidine (measured value: 139 mg/kg). When the product is in direct and prolonged contact with the skin, the aromatic amine may be absorbed by the skin. Benzidine is genotoxic, mutagenic and causes cancer.
