What is the danger
The rubber of the balloons releases an excessive amount of nitrosatable substances generating n-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA)(measured value: 1.6 mg/ kg). NDMA is a nitrosamine, which may cause cancer through ingestion or dermal exposure. A child could be exposed to it when touching or putting the product in the mouth.
