What is the danger
The metal (solder) in the jack contains an excessive amount of lead and of cadmium (measured values up to 87,8 % and 4,7% by weight, respectively). Also, the metal (solder) of the PCB speaker contains an excessive amount of lead (measured values up to 14,9 % by weight). Lead and cadmium pose a risk to the environment.
