What is the danger
The black charger contains an excessive amount of di-(2-etylhexyl)phtalate (DEHP) and short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured values up to 1.04% and 1.48% by weight, respectively). Phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans.
