What is the danger

The hair dryer does not have a thermal cut-out device. The plastic material of the casing is combustible. The hair dryer can overheat and catch fire during use causing burns to the user. The mains cable is not properly protected against pulling and twisting. Live (active) parts can be touched if the internal too thin conductor of the mains connection cable is broken or become free. The user may touch the live parts and receive an electric shock.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European Standard EN 60335.
