What is the danger
The product contains an excessive amount of cadmium (measured value 0,027 % by weight) and releases an excessive amount of nickel (measured value 0,76 μg/cm²/week). Cadmium is harmful to human health, because it accumulates in the body and can damage organs and it may cause cancer. Nickel is a strong sensitizer and can cause various allergic reactions if it occurs in objects that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
