Particle filter mask

What is the danger

After washing, the particle/filter retention capacity of the material reduces significantly (measured values: as low as 69%). Furthermore, the product contains erroneous indications regarding its use, reducing its protective function. Consequently, the product does not fulfil the health and safety requirements; thus, even if combined with other recommended measures, it may not properly protect.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation nor with the European standard EN 149.

Description

Reusable respiratory protective half-face mask with adjustable ear loops and cotton outer layer, available in at least 7 diff. colours (incl. black, white, pink, blue, green, each w. different barcode), with "FFP2" and the CE mark printed on. Product sold online, in particular via Amazon and eBay.

Packaging

The masks are packaged individually in sealed grey plastic bags marked with FFP2 and with the CE marking printed on, as well as the claims "Nanofilter" and "washable up to 30 times".
