What is the danger
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) unit might be damaged, moisture can reach the internal components leading to a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire and/or cause the ESP functions (e.g. vehicle stability control, anti-lock braking systems) to be disabled, increasing the risk of an accident.
