What is the danger

The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead and cadmium (measured value: up to 80.6% and 0.74 % by weight, respectively). Moreover, the plastic material in the black cord has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value: up to 12.8 % and 4.2 % by weight, respectively). Lead and cadmium pose a risk to the environment. DEHP may harm the health of children, possibly causing damage to the reproductive system.
