What is the danger

The product has an excessive concentration of methanol (measured value up to 18.1% by weight). Methanol is acutely toxic to the central nervous system and to the eyes. Ingestion of methanol can lead to blindness or death.

Risk

Blindness in both eyes and/or death, particularly in the case of toddlers.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.

Packaging

Sold online as a set of three 5-litre plastic bottles, square colourless transparent bottles/canisters with a yellow screw, no safety cap, label on one side. The product has also been placed on the market with a red screw-top.
