What is the danger

When disconnecting the connector, live parts are accessible. The termination of the chain does not have sufficient protection against contact with live parts, as the cover does not hold in place. The user could consequently touch live parts and receive an electric shock.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standards EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-20.

A 20m long white light chain, with a device ('mini controller') for changing lighting modes. The chain is not marked with any mandatory data or provided with a sleeve on which these data were indicated.

Packaging

The chain is packed in a cardboard box. The package does not include instructions for use together with safety instructions in Slovak language.
