What is the danger

The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 74 % by weight). The plastic material of the product has excessive concentrations of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured values: 1.1 % and 0.27 % by weight, respectively). Lead poses a risk to the environment. These phthalates may harm the health by possibly causing damage to the reproductive system.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS Directive).
