What is the danger

The kinetic energy of the ejected plastic parts (the purple plastic projectiles) is too high. This can cause injuries, especially to the face and eyes. Improvised projectiles, such as pencils or pen cartridges can also be fired in a dangerous manner, which can also cause injuries.
