What is the danger

The product has excessive concentrations of SCCP in plastic (measured value up to 4.55 % by weight). The product has excessive concentrations of lead in solders and DEHP in plastic (measured value up to 83.9 % and 0.27 % by weight respectively) SCCPs poses a risk to human health and the environment. Lead poses a risk to the environment. Phthalates pose a risk to human health and the environment.

Requirements breached

The product does not comply with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation nor with the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
