What is the danger

The plastic material of the cord has excessive concentrations of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured values: up to 0.12%, 0.84% and 2.6% by weight, respectively). The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: up to 68.8 % by weight). DEHP and DBP pose a risk to human health and the environment.
