What is the danger
The user can have access to live parts and receive an electric shock, as the phase connection may come into contact with the casing of the apparatus. Moreover, an IEC connector is used to connect the radio receiver rather than as an AC mains input or output, posing a risk of fire, electric shock or short circuit.
