What is the danger

The centre lock adapters do not guarantee a permanently stable fixation of the brake disc, because the adapter or the locking ring of the adapter can loosen over time and fall onto the axle. As a result, the brake disc can fall off the adapter and become wedged, which can lead to reduced or even total lack of braking performance, leading to injuries.
