What is the danger
The rubber in the balloons releases an excessive amount of nitrosatable substances (measured value 12.91 mg/kg), from which nitrosamines can be formed. Nitrosamines can cause cancer if swallowed or through skin contact. A child could be exposed to them if they touch the product or put it in their mouth.
