What is the danger

Due to a manufacturing fault in the intermediate steering shaft/steering rack assembly, the driver may find the power steering to be abnormally stiff or too loose. Consequently, the vehicle may turn without input from the steering wheel, with a resultant risk of loss of control, causing the risk of an accident.
