What is the danger
The product has small parts (elements of a plastic ring) that may easily detach. Small children may put them in their mouth and choke. Moreover, the cord is too long. It can become wrapped around the neck of a child, leading to strangulation. In addition, the self-retracting cord is too thin and may cause cuts.
Requirements breached
The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-1.
