Requirements breached

The cross-sectional area of the external and internal wires is too small and the wires could overheat. Furthermore, the wire ends soldered to the terminals are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting. The accessible basic insulated wires can come into contact with sharp edges of the flashing switch and control unit. In case of damage, the live metal parts may become accessible. The transparent plastic tubes can detach from the plastic holder under their own weight. The product is not protected against moisture but is recommended for outdoor use. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
