Requirements breached
The plastic material of the dolls' heads contains bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 28.5% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The material of the big doll's head contains also di-'isononyl' phthalate (DINP) (measured value 6.7% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles while the phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
