What is the danger
The plastic material of the bracelets contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 40% by weight).
Requirements breached
This phthalate may harm the health of children causing possible damage to the reproductive system. In addition, the concentration of mercury in the button batteries in the article (0.16 % by weight). Mercury is one of the most hazardous environmental toxins and is a threat to the environment and, through the environment, to human health. The product does not comply neither with the REACH Regulation nor with the Directive 2006/66 on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators.
