What is the danger

The moisture resistance is inadequate and water can come in contact with live parts (the external charging connector in the battery compartment) which could lead to an electric shock or fire.

Requirements breached

The discharge voltage at the connector pins of the power supply unit is too high and could lead to an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 60335-1.
