What is the danger
The plastic part of the iron can overheat and the power cable can detach from the anchoring system, leaving live parts accessible.
Requirements breached
A user could touch the plastic part or live parts and receive burns or an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 60335.
