What is the danger
The plastic material of the product contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 8.5% by weight) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (8.6% by weight). Moreover, the small fishes have protuding parts.
Requirements breached
These phthalates may harm the health of children causing possible damage to the reproductive system. A child might put the protruding part of the small fish in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
