What is the danger

The product contains 2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 3% by weight) and Dibutylphtalate (DBP) (measured value: 16% by weight). A small part (valve plug) can be easily detached from the toy with fingers or teeth. The plastic bag of the packaging is too thin.

Requirements breached

Phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. A child could put the small part (valve plug) in the mouth and choke on it. If a child plays with the packaging, the plastic bag can cover the mouth and nose, causing the child to suffocate. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 71-1.
