What is the danger

There is high abnormal current within the appliance, creating overheating of the internal cables which can cause a fire.

Requirements breached

The insulation and the electrical circuit safety system are inadequate. The metal parts of the heater can consequently become live and lead to an electric shock if touched. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
