What is the danger
The component was incorrectly made from Nitrile material instead of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer [M-class] rubber (EPDM). This has resulted in the material hardening and shrinking.
Requirements breached
This is leading to hydraulic brake fluid leakage, resulting in decreased braking efficiency and increased risk of road accidents.
