What is the danger
The handle of the kettle can easily detach, as a consequence hot water can pour out of the pipe.
Requirements breached
There is a risk of scalding due to exposure of hot water. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
