What is the danger

The plastic material of the dolls contains 2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 12.42% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system.

Requirements breached

The plastic dolls contain short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up to 2.01%). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation and with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
