The product poses a risk of electric shock because: · The insulation between the accessible metal parts and active parts of the soldering iron is not sufficient. · The dimensions of the flat plug are too small and the pins are not fitted with insulating parts. · The cross-section area of the core of the cable is less then required. · The inlet of the cable does not have an insulating lining or bushing. · The mains supply cable is not protected against pulling and twisting. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
