Requirements breached
There is a risk of electric shock because: - live parts may become accessible – the internal wiring of the power supply can be rotated, leading to their breaking from the terminal connections. - conductors are fixed so that reliance is placed upon the soldering alone to maintain the conductor in position. - thermoplastic parts, on which parts at hazardous voltage are directly mounted, are not resistant to abnormal heat. The product does not comply with the R&TTE Directive and the relevant European standards EN 62080 and EN 60950.
