Requirements breached

The product poses a risk of electric shock because: · the lid of the control unit can be detached without tools and the basic insulated wire parts become accessible, · the wire ends soldered to terminals of the control unit are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting, · the accessible wires have only basic insulation and are in contact with sharp edges of the control unit, · the electrical insulation of the light sources is not adequate, · it is not protected against moisture, yet it is recommended for outdoor use. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
