The product poses a chemical risk because the plasticized material contains 27.1% by weight of di-"isononyl" phthalate (DINP) in the pink guitar, 23.9% in the green guitar and 0.45% in the valve. According to REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
