Too much force is required to activate the safety system (higher than the maximum limit of 10 daN) and the release mechanism does not work, which means that users can neither reduce or eliminate traction nor separate completely from the kite while kite surfing.

Исправление: Corrigendum concerning notification no. 2 (0740/05): Please note that according to the information provided by the producer on the packaging of the product, the quick release snap hook "Kong, model AISI 316" should be used for water skiing, trick competition and racing and slalom. There are no indications that this product is dangerous for such uses. The safety problems have occured when the product has been used for used for kite-surfing.
