The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - there is no over current protection (no fuse); - the cover can be removed when the night-light is plugged into a mains socket outlet and live parts could consequently be touched; - the bulb can be touched when the night-light is plugged to the mains socket outlet without removing the cover. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
