The product poses a chemical risk because the head of the doll contains 34 % by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). According to the REACH Regulation, the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.

Notification 0600/11 from week 26 of 2011 and notification 0348/11 from week 15 of 2011 have been permanently removed following clarification of the risk assessment by the notifying authorities.
